Than knowing the traffic light timers on your commute, so if you leave hard on the green and accelerate briskly through your turn, you can make the next light JUST as it turns yellow ....
And everyone behind you that isn’t as quick gets stuck at the red.

And few things more enraging than the douche that drags their ass towards a light, sees the pedestrian timer counting down, brakes for what was a green light that they would have had no problem making on green, and then piddles through the light anyway on the yellow even though they’ve slowed down so much that it turns red when they’re halfway through.
Leaving you, the at least
“less-bad
driver
”, stuck at the light.

There’s a light exactly like that near me. I know that I have to be at a certain speed by a certain point to make a light and most of the time, I leave people in the dust. Though there are a few that know what I know and do what I do.

There was one light on my commute downtown, if you hit the first OK and then floored it, you could make the 2nd.
I typically passed through this area at 6am, so nobody was really around and the air was cold so my ST’s exhaust just sung for that one city block.
It was one of the highlights of my day.

I love well-timed
traffic lights. I even love poorly-timed ones if I can figure out how to use them to my advantage. But I am really hating these ones that are activated ONLY via sensors, where
no matter how much you slow down during the red phase, you WILL have to stop just to make it turn green at all.
